- Project Description
A commercial retail complex with a gross built-up area of approximately 1.6 million sq.ft
at Balakong, Sungei Besi, Kuala Lumpur. The development consists of
shoplots, anchor
tenant lots, an ice-skating ring, 6 cineplexes, a 32-lane bowling alley, a man-made canal
flanked by shoplots and 1,500 car parking lots.
- Design Concept
Conventional reinforced concrete beam and slab for retail area. Post-tensioned flat slab
for car park area and steel trusses for roof.
- Construction Methodology
Conventional timber forms were used to construct the structure.
